Muchtiyanto, a Picket Officer of Operation Center Control (Pusdalops) for Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation (BPBD), said three sluice gates are on alert 3 status. They are Manggarai (760 cm), Karet (490 cm), and Pasar Ikan (189 cm).
"It happens since at 6 AM. We're still monitoring the sluice gates," he stated, Tuesday (2/2).
Four Sluice Gates in Jakarta On Alert 3He added, on Monday (2/1) night, the Katulampa and Depok sluice gates were on alert 3. As for information, if the water level at Katulampa rises, floodwater will hit Jakarta around nine hours.
While from Depok Sluice Gate, floodwater will flow around six hours into Ciliwung River. Then in some gates, are still on alert 4 or normal, namely Katulampa, Krukut Hulu, Pesanggrahan, Angke Hulu, Cipinang Hulu, Sunter Hulu, Pulo Gadung, and Pluit Reservoir.
